These units are hard to find in respectable condition, consequently we seldom find large quantities available to us. Although the concept of the unit is perfect for small users the actual VCR mechanisms inside were never made as sturdy as individual units and the unit did not sell in the quantities that JVC had expected.

JVC did bring out the BR-7020, a Side by Side dual unit duplicator shortly afterwards however many major duplicators by then had configured their facilities towards the Panasonic or Sony units.
